1. Booking and Payment:
- A minimum advance payment is required to confirm the booking. The balance amount must be paid before boarding the houseboat.
- Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit cards, or cash.
- Failure to make timely payments may result in cancellation without refund.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy:
- Cancellation 30 days before the trip: 80% refund.
- Cancellation 15-30 days before the trip: 50% refund.
- Cancellation within 15 days of the trip: No refund.
- No refund for no-shows or early departures.
- Changes to the booking dates are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
3. Check-in and Check-out:
- Check-in time: 12:00 PM
- Check-out time: 9:00 AM
- Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and additional charges.
4. Houseboat Rules and Guidelines:
- Guests must carry valid ID proof for verification.
- Alcohol consumption and smoking inside the houseboat are not permitted unless stated otherwise.
- Any damage to the houseboat property will be charged to the guest.
- Guests must follow safety guidelines provided by the crew.
5. Itinerary and Services:
- The houseboat cruise follows a fixed itinerary, and deviations are subject to weather conditions and government regulations.
- All meals and beverages provided are as per the selected package. Additional orders will be chargeable.
- The houseboat will be anchored from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM as per government regulations.
6. Liability and Responsibility:
- Houseboat Kumarakom is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to personal belongings.
- In case of unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, government restrictions, or mechanical failures, alternative arrangements will be provided.
7. Dispute Resolution:
Any disputes shall be resolved amicably. If unresolved, they will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala.
8. Amendments:
- Houseboat Kumarakom reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
